Privacy policy

DevSlides is a Markdown-first presentation app for creators, teachers, and founders. This policy covers the website and product at this domain.

• Guest mode: the deck you edit stays in your browser (IndexedDB). When you create a new deck without signing in, we also store a copy so we can count anonymous usage. That copy is not tied to your name or email.
• Accounts: email, display name, and authentication data (email/password or Google sign-in) via Supabase.
• Your decks: when signed in, presentation content and settings sync to our database so you can use them on other devices.
• Payments: Pro is a one-time purchase via Razorpay. We store payment identifiers and Pro status on your account. Card or UPI details are handled by Razorpay, not stored in DevSlides.
• Usage: if analytics is enabled in production, we may collect anonymized page views (for example Vercel Analytics) to understand which pages people use.

We use this information to run the product, save your work, unlock Pro after a verified payment, fix bugs, and reply when you contact us. We do not sell your personal data.

Processors we rely on include Supabase (auth and database), Razorpay (checkout), and the host that serves this site (for example Netlify). Google receives data only if you choose “Continue with Google.” We do not share decks with other customers.

Auth sessions use cookies or similar storage when you sign in. Guest decks use IndexedDB in this browser. Clearing site data removes guest work unless it was imported to an account.

Account data and synced decks stay until you delete them or ask us to. Payment records may be kept as needed for billing, fraud prevention, and tax rules.

• Stay a guest: your working copy stays on this device. A separate anonymous copy of each new deck may be stored for product stats.
• Update your display name and settings in the app.
• Email hello@devslides.app to request an account export or deletion.

We may update this policy as the product changes. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do.
